Our Story

Reef Supply was built between two coastlines.

Taner Ashik grew up in Irvine, California, spending his childhood weekends in Laguna Beach — surrounded by salt air, sunburned shoulders, and the energy of the Pacific. At 10 years old, he moved to Turkey, a country known for world-class textiles and generations of craftsmanship.

Living between California’s beach culture and Turkey’s textile heritage created the blueprint.

Reef Supply exists at that intersection — premium, responsibly made essentials inspired by the ocean.

What started with Turkish towels has evolved into a full coastal lifestyle line, including Oeko-Tex certified towels, heavyweight t-shirts, and apparel designed for everyday wear. Every piece we release meets strict Oeko-Tex standards, meaning it’s free from harmful chemicals and produced with responsible manufacturing practices.

Quality matters. But impact matters more.

Oceans regulate our climate, produce much of the oxygen we breathe, and support entire ecosystems — yet they’re under constant threat. That’s why 10% of our profits are donated to marine conservation efforts focused on protecting reefs and ocean life.
